Ronald R. Barkley, MS, JD
Mr. Barkley is a healthcare business development advisor experienced in medical group practice,
hospital/health system, physician network and healthcare corporate settings. Ron is expert in the
consolidation and operational integration of physician-hospital cancer service lines and in value-based
transformative care delivery, payment and business models.
Ron has served as Executive Director for New Hampshire Oncology Hematology, a regional community
oncology medical group practice. During his tenure, Ron successfully transacted the management and
professional services affiliation between the practice and Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston. The
affiliation model was the forerunner of today s predominant form of oncologist-hospital business
affiliation. Ron has also served as the Market Executive Director for the Chicago Region practices of
the US Oncology Network and as professional business advisor in oncology practice mergers &
acquisitions, business combinations and oncologist-hospital affiliations in numerous settings nationally.
Further, Ron is the managing principal of Cancer Business Forum, a national thought leadership group

Mr. Barkley holds a Master s Degree in Healthcare Administration and a Law Degree with emphasis in
healthcare transactional and regulatory law. He is a member of the State Bar of California; American
Health Lawyer s Association (AHLA), the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC), the Medical
Group Management Association (MGMA) and the Community Oncology Alliance (COA).
